We’re excited to announce that we’re co-creating Westland Festival with AY Young and Battery Tour.
AY has powered
963 shows with Clean Energy.
Westland Festival will be Clean Energy Concert #964 on the historic Road to 1000.
AY is a Recording Artist, a United Nations SDG Youth Ambassador, a D1 Athlete, an Eagle Scout, and Entrepreneur. He is the founder of the Battery Tour - the longest-running clean energy-powered concert series in the USA and worldwide.
He operates on a three-track model that blends music, sustainability, and impact—bringing everyone along on this Road to 1000 as he completes his final 40+ shows and push toward a Guinness World Record for the most clean energy concerts ever.
At Project Winterland, our foundational marrow is the audacity and radical optimism it requires to pursue greater purpose in service of our shared future; reaching that promised-land where wellness, equity and economic vitality are all in harmony. Let’s have some fun while changing the world!
Expressed as both a physical festival and a virtual movement, Westland provides global and local leaders across disciplines a way to channel their talent, vision and charisma to address the pressing issues of our time.

WESTLAND
SOLUTIONIST SUMMIT
A first-of-its-kind convening of climate and business leaders, innovators, storytellers, subject matter experts and unexpected new voices across sectors from the Flathead Valley, greater Montana and beyond. The inaugural 2-day Summit leveraged the proven rapid-prototyping methodology through facilitated acceleration labs customized for specific challenges NW Montana is facing as we advance climate resilience, adaptation and solution-making. With injections from Ignite Talks, keynote speakers, and input from Indigenous leaders, global and regional stakeholders, youth, community members and entrepreneurs will harness the collective wisdom in the room, catalyze new partnerships, unlock and accelerate promising solutions, explore new funding models and opportunities in the climate economy, and execute to transitioning to renewable energy and carbon neutrality strategies in the greater Flathead Valley.
